    Overview

    The M series is a full size machine designed for high sample output. The Phoenix uses a modular system of construction so if your analysis program calls for 60,000 or 1000 samples per annum there is a Phoenix model specifically for that job.

    Samples are dissolved and mixed into a lithium borate flux at temperatures ranging from 300 to 1600°C (Typical fusion temperature is 1050°) over oxygen-enriched flames using specially designed burners. The Mouldable machine uses a mould which incorporates a crucible shape in which both mixing and moulding is performed. When mixing is complete the molten material is cooled in the mouldable and the bead is then removed using a suction cup or similar.
